Position Summary
Fisher's Technology is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Software Engineer to join our Document Automation team. In this role, you will work closely with customers on the discovery, implementation, and support of enterprise content management (ECM) and capture software. You will work closely with various customers to create and maintain efficient workflows and document processes, ensuring the software is fully leveraged to meet business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements, design tailored solutions and deliver product demonstrations.
- Install, configure and maintain off-the-shelf software application solutions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users, including vendor escalation.
- Collaborate with customers to analyze existing business processes and streamline workflows.
- Manage document and data integrations between software and line of business applications.
- Update software and apply patches to maintain security and optimal performance.
- Train end-users on effective use of software applications and best practices.
- Execute data and document migrations from legacy applications to modern platforms.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Work to increase industry knowledge through daily responsibilities and available resources.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, Operations or related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience: 4+ years system administration experience with software platforms, ideally document management software.
- Certifications: preferred AIIM CIP, CompTIA Data+, Laserfiche or similar certification(s).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Familiarity with software such as Laserfiche, ABBYY, Kofax, OpenText, OnBase, DocuWare, M-Files, Upland, Digitech, etc..
- Familiarity with SQL and database management concepts preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven track record of successful software implementations.
