Position Summary
Fisher’s is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Technology Solutions Consultant position on the Fisher’s Integration Systems Team. This role is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and building strong relationships with clients to offer tailored physical security solutions. This position requires an understanding of security cameras, access control systems, and other commercial security products.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and partner engagement.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their security needs and propose appropriate physical security solutions, including surveillance cameras, alarms, access control systems, environmental sensors and related security services.
- Conduct site surveys to assess the security requirements of the customer’s location and recommend customized solutions.
- Develop and present proposals that detail the technical specifications, pricing, and benefits of the company’s products and services.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring that both the client's needs and company goals are met.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement security solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to provide clients with the most up-to-date solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referral opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track performance and assist in strategic planning.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure a smooth installation and onboarding process for new clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the physical security industry or related technical field.
- Understanding of physical security products, including surveillance systems, access control, alarms, and integration services.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and sales objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and convey technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals and manage customer expectations.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve sales goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software for tracking sales activities and managing the sales pipeline.
- Technical knowledge or certification in physical security systems is preferred, but not required.
